this year, my sketchbook found itself in the audience of many panels, discussion, and presentations of various events I was attending in my communities. “drawing my notes” while listening to these works, capturing works and images as they were being shared, in a way feels very nature to how I like to think and process ideas. with a loosening of my watercolor technique, mashing these works and images of 2019 evolved into multidimensional works highlighted here.
